"One with the universe mastering words on the verse,
Funk is a force I exert,
Egyptian, African, now I'm on the Blackwatch,
Check my sundial, synchronize the clock,
I can catch a shadow as the Moon reflects the Sun,
Creator's eyes make a path to brother one" - Brother J from X CLAN
In the 90's, conscious hip hop was a juggernaut with x clan, public enemy, boogie down productions, Paris, poor righteous teachers, brand nubian, etc. One of the classic lines from the song "Heed the words of a brother" by X-Clan inspired this image. This image consists of a natural woman with an album as her crown of natural glory. Her energy is radiating rays of light. The album represents an Afro and is a homage to vintage soul, black pride, nostalgia and beautiful energy. The "aura" of a pure Goddess leaves an imprint on our consciousness like a hieroglyphic hence the title ", AURA-GLYPHIC".
According to spiritual beliefs, an aura or human energy field is a colored emanation said to enclose a human body or any animal or object. In some esoteric positions, the aura is described as a subtle body. Psychics and holistic medicine practitioners often claim to have the ability to see the size, color and type of vibration of an aura.
Hieroglyphs were the formal writing system used in Ancient Egypt and Nubia. Other ancient civilizations used multiple forms of hieroglyphics. They combined
logographic, syllabic and alphabetic elements, with a total of some 1,000 distinct characters. Cursive hieroglyphs were used for religious literature on papyrus and wood. The later hieratic and demotic Egyptian scripts were derived from hieroglyphic writing, as was the Proto-Sinaitic script that later evolved into the Phoenician alphabet. Through the Phoenician alphabet's major child systems, the Greek and Aramaic scripts, the Egyptian hieroglyphic script is ancestral to the majority of scripts in modern use. This image is a depiction of an AURA-GLYPHIC.
